Ardhy as the people from Indonesia Birding is the best tour organize you can hope for while travelling in Sulawesi. Extremely knowledgeable in bird life, his is teaching his guide peer on wildlife. He knows the best spots for Birding and Wildlife in Sulawesi Island and how to make journey enjoyable. This was my 6th time travelling in Indonesia and he is by far the best tour organizer and guide I have met.

Ardhy was our tour guide and took us to the jungle in Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park North Sulawesi Indonesia. We learned so much about birds and even saw the endangered Maleos. Learned about mammals and also about culture during these days. We were hoping to see the black crested macaques and at the end they even came to our place. We had a fantastic time and Ardhy was the best guide we could have wished for. So much knowledge and welcoming, he even stayed with us until the ferry for the Togeans was leaving and helped us organize the most amazing place to stay in Malenge.

Ardhy is an avid wildlife specialist (with a keen personal interest in birds) and an excellent leader and man manager. All of his team are as enthusiastic as he is and every one of my new friends was keen to show me as much of Sulawesi as could possibly be crammed into those few days I was able to spend with them (it had not been my first visit to Sulawesi!) . In a nutshell: If you travel to Sulawesi (or indeed anywhere in the Indonesian archipelago), look no further, just travel with Ardhy and you will be extremely well looked after. He is active in engaging local people in conservation: he trains local people to act as guides, provides education resources to children and ensures that local people see material benefits from tourism. Meriba is very professional in organizing our birding trip to Papua. The timeliness and explanation of the birds in Papua are also very clear to us. It is highly recommended to ask them to arrange your birding trip, especially in the New Guinea region, such as Papua and West Papua.

Visiting Papua New Guinea is a memorable and quite interesting experience. Meriba accompanied us to several Bird Of Paradise observation locations. During our trip, Meriba was quite competent and very familiar with the characteristics of the areas we visited. The local community also received us very well. This is what made our birding trip quite enjoyable and memorable in Papua.

We have visited Indonesia five times, and we want to come back again to explore this country. During our visit, we are always accompanied by Meriba, who is our best guide from trip in Sumatra, Java, Bali, Flores, Sulawesi, and Papua. Our birding trips always have fond memories, especially since Meriba does a good job as a guide. Next time, we will visit Halmahera again for the next trip.

One month to explore birding on the island of Sulawesi is not enough time because there are still many interesting areas to visit and explore. Meriba accompanied us on our 31-day journey to visit the best birding spots on Sulawesi Island, including areas that birdwatchers still don’t know much about. Indonesian Birding provided a memorable experience for us, and of course I will come back again to explore Sulawesi Island.
